Ubuntu: download Youtube Videos

I have seen this question many times and I'm sure there is software out there programmed to do this for you, but if you use Ubuntu (this might work with other OS's) you do not need a program to do this. The trick is to play the youtube video and let the bar fill up all the way, you can watch it meanwhile or go wash dishes idk, but do not close the tab or the browser. Now what you want to do, is go to:
/tmp

There will be a file with some weird name like 'FlashBqqQrA', now this is your youtube video so make a copy and that's it! You can view this with VLC,
sudo apt-get install vlc-plugin-esd mozilla-plugin-vlc

Enjoy!

Note: Done in Ubuntu 9.04
